The native women of Bali (Indonesia) used to go about bare-breasted. The generally high standard of Balinese breasts was attributed to the women's carriage ; from the time they are 7, female Balinese carried well-laden baskets on their heads, thereby attaining a carriage which permited of no flat chests.
