The native women of Bali (Indonesia) used to go about bare-breasted. The generally high standard of Balinese breasts was attributed to the women's carriage ; from the time they are 7, female Balinese carried well-laden baskets on their heads, thereby attaining a carriage which permited of no flat chests.

Bare-breasted Baggara Arab girl, Chad [1930] The Baggara are a grouping of Arab ethnic groups inhabiting the portion of Africa's Sahel mainly between Lake Chad and southern Kordofan, numbering over one million. They are known as Baggara in Sudan, and as Shuwa/Diffa Arabs in Chad and Nigeria. Their name derives from the Arabic word (Arabic: بقارة‎) literally meaning "cattle herder".
